Namaqualand Scenic Tours 
Weskus Kaya, in association with Africa 4X4 Adventures offer 5 and a half day trips to Namaqualand beginning on the 1st of September every year, travelling in an air conditioned, luxury minibus to Springbok in the Northern Cape which is known to offer the most spectacular sightings of annual spring flowers.
We are conveniently based in Melkbosstrand on the Cape/Namibia route and our packages include transfers to and from Cape Town International Airport, two nights stay at Weskus Kaya Bed & Breakfast and all meals (alcoholic drinks excluded). Once in Springbok, guests will be checked in to the Goegap Nature Reserve.
This itinerary is as follows:
Day One
Guests arrive at Cape Town International Airport, from where transfers to Wekus Kaya Bed & Breakfast is arranged where they enjoy a hearty South African West Coast dinner and attend a briefing on the trip.
Day Two
After a good breakfast, guest begin travelling to Springbok along the scenic N7 route via Citrusdal and Clanwilliam. Lunch will be at Niewoudtville, after which we drive to a nearby guest farm where we will stay for the night.
Day Three
After a good night’s ‘farm style’ rest, we take a quick circle route to the Nieuwoudtville waterfalls, and visit Loeriesfontein to see the Windpomp (wind pump) Museum after which we proceed via Calvinia to Springbok. This route is a must see, affording visitors many photo opportunities, and will last a whole day’s travel. At around 16:00 we can expect to Goegap Nature Reserve for the night’s stay. Once there, guests can will enjoy a campfire dinner and simply relax and unwind.
Day Four
After a well deserved rest and good breakfast, guests will travel the most beautiful route in the reserve, lasting approximately 2 hours. Thereafter, it’s off the beaten track to explore and experience the beauty of Africa. Lunch will be at an impromptu stop, in the midst of the most spectacular carpet of flowers. After lunch we continue exploring the beautiful surroundings until 16H00 following which we return to the reserve for the night’s stay and dinner.
Day Five
Guests will travel the 550 km back to Weskus Kaya Bed & Breakfast in Melkbosstrand on the picturesque South African West Coast for a night’s stay before returning to their destinations.
Day Six
Debrief, greetings and transfers as arranged.
